Wilfrid Laurier University Application Process for International Students

Wilfrid Laurier University is one of the fastest-growing universities in Canada. Students are allowed to work part-time and gain experience on campus while studying the international student experience program. As the first language preferred by the university is English. Students must submit proof of English training in the requirements of the university and admission office if their native language is not English.

• Once students have completed a full course in an English language school program for a period of three years, students may request exemption from the English language proficiency test.

How to apply?

• Students may submit a written copy as proof that they have completed their studies in the English language school program for a minimum period of three years. 
• Documents must be sealed or stamped by the college directly or students may bring a scanned copy of the LORIS account.
• If students are ready for the course but do not meet the English language requirements required by the university they can apply for the Laurier English and Academic Foundation (LEAF) program.
• The student must qualify for Level 3, 4, or 5 to apply for the LeAF program. Eligibility is considered on the basis of the latest English language proficiency test scores. Students are eligible to follow this program only after the completion of the 5th level.
