Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) is a polytechnic institute that offers more than 100 career programs in technology, trades, and business. It is well known for providing applied education. It is Calgary's second oldest post-secondary institution and Canada's first publicly funded technical institute.

  • Culinary Campus – Located on Stephen Avenue, it provides baking basics and cooking fundamentals. The Culinary Campus also acts as a marketplace, selling food to the general public.
  • Art Smith Aero Centre – Occupying 17 acres of land at the Calgary International Airport, this campus supports the School of Transportation.

  • SAIT Polytechnic helps the students of Canada through the Student Loan. To enable this loan, the student should be a resident of Canada or a citizen of Canada.
  • The Student Loan can be provided under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. If the student is a resident, then the aid is in the form of a Student loan.

How can I get into the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology? 

SAIT offers various different courses in different areas of study and there are certain academic requirements expected from the applicants, however, some programs require additional selection criteria that are taken into consideration for deciding the eligibility.

  • An online application form must be submitted before the deadline
  • Non-refundable application fee of $75 must be paid using Visa or Mastercard
  • Official transcripts of all high school or post-secondary education must be submitted

Average Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for full-time students may vary depending upon the number of courses one has registered for. The fees for optional courses are not included in tuition fees and are subject to addition. The first-year tuition fee for full-time international students may range from $17,371 to $20,085 depending upon the program they enrol for. The fee of $1,430 will be charged in addition to the tuition fee.

Courses Fees

The Basic tuition fees for Undergraduate courses for Candian students may range from CAD$1273 to CAD$13,500 depending upon the courses or the programs they choose. The laptop deposit fee of $400 is refundable and is applicable only for those students who take-up e-learning programs.
