Metropolitan college offers Intensive English (ESL) program that focuses on improving the English communication skills of the students and also certificate programs that help in the improvement of the language skills of the students. The programs are fused with volunteering and work opportunities, after school tutoring so as to make the program much more efficient and effective for the students.

It also offers improvement of the English language in speaking, vocabulary, talk, conversation, essay, writing, etc. It recently became an authorized TOEIC and IbT TOEFL testing center.
Metropolitan College offers admissions for full-time (25 hours/week), and 2 part-time (15 and 10 hours/week) respectively for ESL, and 25 private lessons for TESOL. Applicants are expected to apply early which is a few months prior to the application deadline. Students can apply through the university’s online portal for any program or course they desire to study with an application fee of 150 CAD which is non-refundable.
