Southern Cross University Admission Requirements

In a study accepted to SCU, international students must have a minimum GPA of 5.5 on a scale of 7 in their top four subjects (equal to 75-85%) and an average IELTS score of 6.5. Students with no bachelor's degree but significant relevant job experience may be accepted into a Graduate Diploma or Masters’s program.

Academic scores for undergraduate admission are calculated using the indicative ATAR score, which varies by degree. For popular programs in the fields of Arts, Science and Environment, Education, Social Sciences, and Community Welfare, an ATAR of 60 is necessary. Engineering and law programs have slightly higher requirements, ranging from 70 to 80.
