Candidates must carry their CBSE 12th Admit Card 2020 to the examination centres. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without producing the admit card. The process includes certain steps to be followed which are given below.
Step 1: Visit the CBSE official website- cbse.nic.in and click on "Click for CBSE Website".
Step 2: Under the Recent Announcement section on the homepage. Click on the link provided for the admit card.
Step 3: Click on the "CBSE 12th Admit Card 2020". In the new window, enter the required details and click on Submit button.

CBSE board has refrained schools from withholding admit cards of candidates who have performed poorly in the pre-board examinations held by the school.
CBSE board has strictly ordered schools to refrain from charging fees for admit cards.
Schools must issue admit cards to candidates enlisted in the finalized List of Candidates (LOC) for classes 10th and 12th board exams.
Candidates are required to produce the Roll Number as an identity for the result declaration.
For any further communication with the board, candidates have to mention their Roll Number.
Candidates those who register for the supplementary exam 2020 alone are eligible to download their compartment admit card 2020 for class 12 compartment examination.
Admit card for the CBSE compartment exam for the year 2020 will be released within July 2020 (Tentative). Whereas candidates shall visit the CBSE official website to download the compartment exam admit card.

First & foremost, without the admit card, a candidate is not allowed to enter the exam premise thus, the candidate is not allowed to appear for the exam.
For 2nd year candidates, while applying for entrance exams the intermediate admit card number is mandatory.
During the counselling sessions of the entrance exams, candidate needs to submit the 12th admit card along with the other certificates.
Intermediate admit card is very important for the candidates even for future references while seeking admission in various courses after the completion of the class 12th.
Candidates should verify the details printed on the admit card carefully. Any mistakes should be brought to the notice of the school principal immediately for rectification.
Read the instructions printed on the answer booklet carefully. The roll number in the hall-ticket should match the roll number printed on the OMR barcoded sheet. It is the responsibility of the candidates to collect the correct OMR sheet form the invigilator. The pinning of a wrong barcoded sheet will lead to the wrong declaration of results.
Candidates are expected to occupy the seats allotted to them inside the examination hall, 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination. After that, no student will be allowed to enter the premises.
Candidates should receive the correct question paper and a unique subject code should be matched with the one mentioned in Hall Ticket.
Do not write the name or roll number in any part of the answer book.

Bringing any kind of written/printed material/books into the examination hall.
Nothing down the answers on the question papers hall ticket.
Copying from others.
Possession of cell phone and other electronic gadgets.
