TS Intermediate Mathematics Exam Pattern - Check Marking Scheme

The TS Intermediate Mathematics Exam Pattern 2026 has been announced by Telangana State Inter Education Board on its official website at tsbie.cgg.gov.in. The TS Intermediate exam 2026.  will be conducted for a total of 100 marks with 75 marks assigned for theory and 25 marks for Internals.

The Mathematics Paper will be conducted in two papers: Paper 2A and Paper 2B. In the 2A Paper, Binomial Theorem has the maximum weightage of 18 marks, whereas in the 2B Paper, Circles has the maximum weightage of 22 marks.

According to the updated TS Intermediate Exam Pattern, there will be three sections in the board paper: section A with two-mark questions, section B with four-mark questions, and section C with seven-mark questions. To prepare for the TS Intermediate Mathematics board exam, you must first understand the format of the question papers. The Mathematics question paper has a maximum of 75 marks for both Part A and Part B. The question paper pattern is the same in both portions; the only difference is the chapters covered. To make the best of the TS Intermediate Mathematics Exam Pattern 2026, you should follow the below points:

  • Understand the division of marks between the theory and the internal assessment period in the TS Intermediate Mathematics Exam Pattern, as this will allow you to allocate the proper preparation time based on the mark distribution.
  • Understand the structure of the paper consisting of three sections containing varying marks worth 2 marks, 4 marks, and 7 marks. This will help with time management in the board exam on how long to spend on each of the sections.
  • Go through the Chapters to see how marks are allocated for each of the topics, and try to focus on the topics with high weightage.
