Kakatiya University Eligibility Criteria

The students must appear for the entrance examination conducted by the university to meet the eligibility criteria set and to shortlist for the KU admission call.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.
• The candidate should have a valid score in TS EAMCET.

MSW Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have a Graduation degree with a minimum of 40% aggregate.
• The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 36 marks on the entrance test.

PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed the KUPGCET exam.

Kakatiya University was established on August 19, 1976, to fulfil the aspirations of the Telangana people for higher education. It is located in the historical city of Warangal, the erstwhile seat of the Kakatiya rulers. The erstwhile Post-Graduate Centre of Osmania University was upgraded and named Kakatiya University. The university began its journey as PG Centre Warangal in 1968 under Osmania University's aegis with only four Departments, viz. Telugu, English, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Kakatiya University Cutoff

Kakatiya University cutoff 2022 has been released. The MCA cutoff based on TSICET is 29870 for general category students. The university offers UG, PG, and Doctoral courses in Engineering, Management, Science, and Law. Kakatiya University Warangal cutoff differs for each course, specialization, and category. Kakatiya University (KU) Warangal follows odd and even semester patterns to test students for all its courses. End-semester examinations are conducted in December and July for odd and even semesters, respectively.
