The TS Intermediate Biology Exam Pattern 2026 has a very balanced structure. Understanding the exam pattern will help you develop a better preparation strategy. The TS Intermediate Exam Pattern 2026 follows a rational approach. The subject of Biology is divided into the streams Botany and Zoology. Thus, you will have to appear for two separate exams. The theory exam for each Botany and Zoology will carry sixty marks. Forty marks are distributed for the internal exam in each case. Hence, the overall valuation of the subject of Biology is two hundred marks (Botany and Zoology theory and internal exams combined). There is no negative marking in the TS Intermediate Biology exam.

TS Intermediate Biology Exam Pattern 2026 – Subject Wise 

The TS Intermediate Biology Exam Pattern has a very simple structure. This subject is separated into the streams named Botany and Zoology. You will have to appear for two separate exams. The theory exam for each Botany and Zoology will carry sixty marks. Forty marks in each case will be for internal assessment. The total weightage of the subject of Biology will be 200 marks. In each theory exam, there will be three sections. Section A will have ten very short questions of 2 marks each. In Section B, you will have to answer any six short questions of 4 marks each.
