TS ECET 2021 Eligibility

Candidates should make sure that they clear certain Eligibility Criteria laid down to be eligible for the Examination. The information regarding the TS ECET 2021 Eligibility Criteria is mentioned below.

Education

The candidate must have passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana State / Andhra Pradesh or any other Diploma recognized by the Government of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto for admission into the relevant BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharmacy courses.

The candidates should have passed B.Sc. with Mathematics as a major subject from a recognized University in the Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh state or its equivalent.

Candidates who are pursuing a Diploma course under sandwich pattern shall be eligible for entry into the relevant BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharmacy courses provided they have completed the practical training for the sandwich course before the close of counseling for entry into the relevant course.

The candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology/ Pharmacy/ B.Sc. (Mathematics) Degree with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates).

TS ECET 2021 Application Form

The Candidates should fill out the TS ECET 2021 Application Form with the necessary details and documents. TS ECET 2021 Admit Card

TS ECET 2021 Exam Centres

Candidates can select from the various TS ECET 2021 Exam Centres for taking up the examination, based on their comfort and vicinity.

  • Location: TS ECET is conducted in 14 different cities in the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
  • Choice of Centre: Candidates have to choose the preferred Exam Centre while filling the Application Form according to their convenience.
  • Exam Centre: If enough number of candidates do not opt for a particular centre that particular centre may be cancelled and then centre chosen as the next choice will be allotted automatically.
  • Change in Centre: However, in a situation where none of the choices indicated by the candidate is available (which is unlikely to happen), one of the available centres that are geographically nearest to the first preference centre.
  • Id Proof: Candidates must carry valid id proof along with the admit card to the exam centre without fail.
  • Reporting: Candidates are required to report to the Examination Centre by 08.30 AM on the day of Examination as the candidates have to undergo the registration process at the test centre which includes taking of photographs, capturing off fingerprint etc.

TS ECET 2021 Exam Pattern

The TS ECET 2021 Exam Pattern is set by the organizing body of the exam, which is the JNTUH. TS ECET 2020 Exam Analysis

The TS ECET 2020 Exam was successfully conducted in two shifts (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM). The candidates were required to follow social safety guidelines to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus. The exam centres made sure to follow social distancing protocols to keep the students safe from infection. The exam was held on across 56 exam centres, with 4 of them situated in Andhra Pradesh. The examination was conducted as a computer-based test.

Candidates were required to carry a photo ID along with the TS ECET 2020 Hall Ticket to be allowed to enter the exam center. The number of students who had applied for the examination was close to 30,000.

As per student reports, the TS ECET 2020 Exam was of a moderately easy level of difficulty. Most of the questions were directly framed from the syllabus topics. A lot of students reported that the mathematics section was harder than the other sections.

The majority of students reported feeling satisfied with the level of SOP and Social Distancing Protocols implemented by the Telangana State and the staff members in the TS ECET 2020 Exam Centres.

TS ECET 2021 Results

  • Results: Results will be declared on the official website for all the candidates.
