TS Intermediate Accountancy exam pattern 2026 - Section Wise

A 100-mark theory paper makes up the TS Intermediate Accountancy exam which also includes the commerce exam.There are 2 parts (each of a maximum of 50 marks) and 7 sections in the TS Intermediate Accountancy question paper. Part I consists of three sections - Section A, B and C that are related to the Commerce section.Section A is made up of 2 long answer questions.Each of these questions is worth ten marks out of a possible score of 20. If you successfully respond to 4 short answer questions in Section B, each worth five marks, you will score a total of 20 marks.

Out of the 10 potential marks, 5 short answer questions in Section C must be answered, each worth two marks. Part II consists of four sections - Section D, E, F, and G that are related to the Accountancy section. Section D is made up of 1 very long answer question. It is worth twenty marks out of a possible score of 20. If you successfully respond to the 1 long answer question in Section E, worth ten marks, you will score a total of 10 marks. Out of the 10 potential marks, 2 short answer questions in Section F must be answered, each worth five marks. Section G is made up of 5 short answer questions, each worth two marks, with a total of 10 marks. Three hours are needed to finish the exam.
