Bihar Board 12th Result 2021 (Released!)

As per the latest update, the Bihar board released the class 12th results on 26th March 2021 at 3 PM for all three streams. Moreover, students have to provide their "Roll Number" and "Roll Code" to check BSEB 12th result 2021 from the official website -  biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and onlinebseb.in or the direct link that is provided in the following sections.

As per the official data, around 13.5 lakh candidates registered for the BSEB 12th exam. Out of which, 6.5 lakhs were girls, and 5.4 lakhs were boys. Furthermore, before releasing the Bihar board 12th result, the board had released the answer key for students to check their answers. If the student had to raise any objection against any key, then they had an opportunity to do so before the given deadline. 

Students who cannot score passing marks in Bihar class 12th board exams are given another opportunity to score well, and this exam is called the supplementary exam. Bihar class 12th supplementary exam is most likely to be conducted in May (tentative). How to Check Bihar Board 12th Result 2021?

Bihar board will release the class 12th result online. We must assure you it is an easy task to check your results online from the official website by following the step-by-step procedure as given below - 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Bihar board - onlinebseb.in or biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in

Step 2: Look for "Bihar Board 12th/Intermediate Result 2021" link under the Press Release tab and click on it.

Bihar Board 12th Result Roll Number Wise

Lakhs of students register and appear for the BSEB Inter exam, and each student will be provided with a unique roll number and roll code. Bihar board releases the result on the official result portal. To check the result, students must enter Roll Number, Roll Code and click on Search to generate the result.

Bihar 12th Result Name Wise

Candidates have the opportunity to check the BSEB 12th results name-wise. Candidates must enter their Name and click on the "Search" button to generate the results, which can then be saved or downloaded for future reference.

Bihar Board 12th Answer Key 2021

Bihar School of Education Board has released the class 12th answer key on 13th February 2021. Candidates who had appeared for class 12th board exams could check their respective streams' answer keys online. Moreover, candidates who wanted to object to any key had the opportunity to do so by 16th March 2021. Students are advised to visit the official website - biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in to check the answer key. 

BSEB conducted the Bihar board intermediate exams from 1st February 2021 to 13th February 2021. Around 13.5 lakh candidates had registered for this years' intermediate exams. In the exam, 50% of the question paper had objective questions with multiple-choice options, which was supposed to be answered in the OMR sheet. The board had released the answer key to the objective questions. Students could tally their answers from the answer key by downloading the same from the official website.

Bihar Board 12th Scrutiny 2021

Bihar board begins the registration for scrutiny of class 12th on 1st April 2021. Students who are not satisfied with their Intermediate results can get their answer booklets checked by applying at the board's official website - biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in 

BSEB 12th scrutiny applications will remain open till 7th April 2021. Students have to pay a fee of Rs 70/-  per answer booklet through online payment for the scrutinizing process. Moreover, students can get their answer booklets photocopy which was evaluated by BSEB. 

How to Apply for BSEB 12th Scrutiny 2021?

Students must follow the steps given below to apply for class 12th scrutiny:

Step 1: Visit the board's official website - biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in 

Step 2: Click on the "Scrutiny Application" link on the homepage.

Step 3: Fill in your details in BSEB 12th scrutiny form 2021.

Step 4: Click on "Submit" after filling in the details. 

Step 5: Pay the required fee on its payment portal.

Bihar Board 12th Result 2021 Passing Criteria

According to the new class 12th exam pattern, there are 50% objective questions (MCQs) and 50% short and long answer type questions. Moreover, students are not required to pass separately in the two sections as the marks obtained in both units are combined. Therefore, the minimum qualifying marks will be 33 marks in each subject, and the minimum aggregate must be 33%. Furthermore, students who have practical examinations have to score minimum qualifying marks in the practicals to be declared as pass in that subject. Candidates can refer to the table of their respective streams for a clear understanding of the passing criteria- 

Passing Marks for Arts Stream

Subjects without practical assessments have passing criteria of 33%. In contrast, subjects with practical examinations have passing criteria of 33%, in which the minimum marks to score in theory exams will be 21 marks, whereas in practical exams, will be 12 marks. Passing Marks for Commerce Stream

Subjects in this stream do not have any practical assessments. Therefore, the minimum qualifying marks will be 33. Students can refer to the table given below, representing the passing criteria of the commerce stream.

Passing Marks for Science Stream

Apart from the language subjects and mathematics, this stream has subjects with practical examinations. Therefore, the minimum qualifying marks will be 33. Statistics of BSEB 12th Board Exam Results from 2013 - 2020

The previous year, the Bihar Intermediate exam saw an overall pass percentage of 80.44%. In the Arts stream, Sakshi Kumari topped the BSEB 12th board exam 2020 with 474 marks. Kausar Fatma and Sudhanshu Narayan Choudhary topped Commerce stream with 476 marks, and in the Science stream, Neha Kumari topped by obtaining 476 marks. The commerce stream is leading by 93.26%, followed by the arts and science stream with 81.44% and 77.39%.
