The Maharashtra HSC Chemistry Exam Pattern 2026 has a very basic outline. The 3-hour theory paper’s evaluation is 70 marks. The practical assessment constitutes 30 marks. So, on the whole, the evaluation of the Chemistry paper is 100 marks. The 4 main sections in the theory exam will be A, B, C, and D. The first two questions in Section A will be a mix of 18 MCQs/Very-short questions (1 mark for each part). In section B, you need to solve any 8 short questions out of 12 (2 marks for each question). In section C, you must answer any 8 short questions out of 12 (3 marks for each question). Section D will be the last section. In Section D, you have to answer any 3 long questions out of 5 (4 marks for each question).
