  • Board of Secondary Education was established in 1910, under the Government of Tamil Nadu Department of Education.

  • TN HSC board conducts the exam every year and among them, more than 90% of the students passed their examination successfully.

TN HSC Time Table 2019:

  • Candidates can download the TN HSC Time Table from the official website. The latest Time Table will be provided for student welfare.

  • Candidates are required to download the Time Table in the PDF format and prepare for the exam according to the date and time provided in the Routine.

  • TN HSC Results published on 19th April 2019. Candidates can check their results with the link mentioned below.

  • The time interval that the board takes to publish the results is around 30-40 days. For the results, students can check the website and can get the marks that are obtained by the students.

  • TN HSC Board has been announcing the awards to those students who have passed their exam with good grades. Candidates get the proper scholarship if they score 90% and above in the final exams.

  • To keep a track about the TN HSC/12th 2019 Result candidates must be touch with the official website of Tamil Nadu whereas a student needs to enter his or her Date of Birth, School Code.

Q. How do I deal with exam stress?

A. One must prepare a proper schedule by allocating specific hours to each subject in order to have the required focus and attention in the time span. Exam stress is a common theme in the students, in order to come out of it, certain breaks must be added in the routine.

Q. Has the board fixed any age criteria for appearing in the examination?

A. As if now there are no such age criteria for appearing in the exam

Q. What are the options after grade X?

A. There are a lot of choices depending on the interest of the candidate, one can make a SWOT analysis to further proceed with the track. Some common streams are Science, Commerce, Humanities etc. according to the SWOT analysis, one can determine their skills accordingly.

Q. What if I don't do well in the exam?

A. If at all the examination didn't go well, one shouldn't get worried as there must be something else the candidate is good at. Hence the next step would be to find out the alternative. Rechecking is also an option if the candidate feels he/she has done well yet got fewer marks.

Q. When to start preparing for the exam?

A. The candidates are advised to start preparing from the 1st day of intermediate but focus on boards must be raised from at least 6 months before the examination to achieve good marks in all the subject.
