Tamil Nadu board has revised the TN 12th exam pattern 2024 for class 12 students. The TN board 12th exam pattern 2024 will guide the students about the difficulty level of the paper, the most asked topics, the areas that need more attention, and the marks distribution.

TN 12th Exam Pattern 2024 Details

The exam papers will contain objective, short, and long questions. Tamil Nadu 12th new exam pattern 2024 is divided into three sections:

  • Part 1 is a language paper in which students can choose their preferred language. The board offers Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, French, and German as language possibilities.
  • Part 2 is the English Language paper.
  • Part 3 consists of a choice of four subjects from a list provided by the board.
  • Each paper carries 100 marks (theory 70, practical 20, internal 10).

TN 12th Exam Pattern 2024 Subject-wise

Students must go through the TN 12th 2024 exam pattern subject-wise to perform well in the TN 12th exam. The following section provides a detailed exam pattern for the main subjects for the convenience of students.

Chemistry

There will be 4 sections and students will have to attempt questions from each section. The Total mark for Chemistry is 200. Below mentioned is the TN 12th 2023-24 exam pattern for chemistry:
