The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) sets the TN 12th exam pattern 2025-26, comprising all the important details and subject-wise paper pattern. The TN class 12th papers are divided into four sections: multiple-choice questions, 2-mark questions, 3-mark questions, and 5-mark questions. 

The TN class 12th exams are conducted for 100 marks, out of which 70 will be given for theory and practical marks distribution class 12 state board is for 30 marks. Moreover, the papers will contain objective, short, and long questions. The minimum 12th pass mark in Tamil Nadu in each paper is 30 out of 100. The Tamil Nadu 12th exam pattern includes the marking scheme and difficulty level of the examinations.
