MPBSE 12th Chemistry Deleted Syllabus 2026 has been released by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education to reduce students’ exam stress and make their preparation easy. As per the new curriculum of 2026, the board has removed some chapters and topics that are either unnecessary, less relevant, or rarely asked in MPBSE 12th Exam 2026.

Some of the removed topics are Solid State (classification of solids, unit cell calculations, magnetic properties), Surface Chemistry (adsorption, emulsions, colloidal properties), General Principles and Isolation of Elements (Concentration, Occurrence, principles of extraction of aluminum), P-Block Elements, and many more.

The MP Board 12th Deleted Syllabus 2026 allows students to focus more on high-weightage and scoring units like electrochemistry, aldehydes and ketones, solutions, and biomolecules. The purpose of this 30% cut is to improve conceptual understanding, time management during revisions, and the MPBSE 12th Exam's alignment with competitive exams like JEE and NEET.

Benefits of MPBSE 12th Chemistry Deleted Syllabus

To alleviate some of the academic burden, the MP Board made the decision to reformat the Chemistry syllabus for Class 12. The board will assist learning and concentrating on concepts by deleting unnecessary or redundant topics.

  • The main benefit here is that you can learn more difficult topics such as organic reactions and electrochemistry by studying fewer chapters in Chemistry.
  • Specifically, the revised syllabus allows you to devote more time to improving numerical techniques and your understanding of chemical equations, both of which will benefit you.
  • You will be able to examine key Chemistry principles more frequently, which will help you prepare for retention and exams.
  • A reduced Chemistry syllabus allows you to reduce ambiguity between similar topics, particularly organic and inorganic chemistry.
  • Finally, it improves your chances of obtaining academic credit elsewhere, such as entrance exams (JEE or NEET) that include Chemistry subjects.
