A minimum of 40% marks is required to pass the ISC 12th Improvement exam in every subject. However, the criteria for overall ISC 12th passing marks differ. Overall, students need to score at least 35% marks to pass the examination. Only the students who pass will get a passing certificate. Passing the English examination, which is the language paper, is compulsory.
