The HBSE 12th Physics Exam Pattern 2026 has been designed in a very student-friendly way. Thus, you will understand it within a few minutes. HBSE 12th Physics Exam Pattern 2026 – Section-Wise Classification 

The HBSE 12th Physics Exam Pattern has a very simple interpretation. The complete assessment of the Physics paper is one hundred marks. The theory exam is three hours long, and its weightage will be seventy marks. Thirty marks are reserved for the practical exam. In the theory paper, there will be five sections from A to E. Section A will have eighteen objective-type questions of one mark each. Section B will have seven very short questions of two marks each. In Section C, you will have to answer five short questions of three marks each. In Section D, there will be three long questions of five marks each. In Section E, you will have to answer two case-study-based questions of four marks each. The simple analysis of the HBSE 12th Physics question paper pattern is provided in the table below.
