Introduction to Haryana LEET (Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test) 2019:

  • About: Haryana LEET (Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test) 2019 is conducted by HSTES (Haryana State Technical Education Society) for admission to lateral entry B.Tech/B.E. program.

  • Admissions:  The admissions are provided to the course on the basis of the inter-se-rank obtained in OLET (Online Lateral Entry Test). Admissions to B. Arch. Course is made on the basis of rank obtained in NATA which is conducted by COA and JEE (MAIN) paper part II conducted by CBSE.

  • Background: The Govt. of Haryana has constituted HSTES in the Department of Technical Education in order to implement the transparent and uniform procedure for admissions to various Graduate, Post-Graduate and the diploma courses in the state.

  • Courses: The LEET 2019 exam is a gateway for admissions to undergraduate engineering programs offered by HSTES (Haryana State Technical Education Society) including B.E. (Lateral Entry) in Civil/CSE/ECE/EEE/Mechanical/Automobile/Aeronautical and I.T and B.Arch. 

  • Sections: The exam consists of the following sections namely Basic Science, Electronics, Mechanical and other engineering stream courses.

  • Mode: The exam is conducted online

  • Frequency: The Haryana LEET 2019 exam is conducted just once in a year. 

  • Participating Colleges: Both the government entities and the privately-owned Colleges across the state of Haryana Participates for Haryana LEET 2019.

  • Authority: The organising body "Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES)" has the absolute rights for conducting the Haryana LEET 2019 examination.

Haryana LEET 2019 Important Dates:

  • Application Form: The Haryana LEET 2019 application form will be released on the official website from 30th April 2019 and the last date to complete the application form is 24th May 2019.

  • Admit Card: The Admit Card for Haryana LEET 2019 will be made available from 28th May 2019.

Haryana LEET 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Eligibility: Candidates should have passed Part 1 of B.Sc/B.Tech or have a Diploma in Engineering to be eligible for applying to Haryana LEET 2019 examination.

  • Qualifications: To appear for Haryana LEET 2019 candidates belonging to OC or OBC are required to score at least 45% marks. And 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PD.

Haryana LEET 2019 Application Process

  • Details: In order to complete the application process successfully the candidate must enter details such as personal details, qualification details, contact details, exam centre of their choice etc.

  • Application fee: The application fee for general category is INR 500 whereas, for female candidates and reserved category, it will be INR 200. The application fee can be paid through credit/debit/Net Banking etc.

Haryana LEET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Exam pattern: The exam pattern will comprise of 90 objective Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ's) carrying one mark for each correct response. 

  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in Haryana LEET 2019 exam.

Haryana LEET 2019 Admit Card

  • Credential: The candidates are required to enter their Application Number to download the Haryana LEET 2019 Admit card.
  • Official website: Candidates who have successfully submitted the Haryana LEET 2019 application form can download admit card from the official website. The admit card details will contain the candidate's Name, application number, exam centre, exam date and time etc.

LEET 2019 Important Dates

  • LEET 2019 application availability: The candidates can avail the application form for the LEET 2019 from 30th April 2019 to 24th May 2019 on the official website.

  • LEET admit card availability: Once the candidates have all applied for the LEET 2019 exam the examination authority uploads the admit card on the Official website. The candidates can avail the admit card from 28th May 2019.

  • Exam date: The LEET 2019 exam will be held from 5th June 2019.

  • Declaration of results: After the exam has been conducted the results will be announced on the official website on 7th July 2019.

  • Counselling Date: Once the results of the LEET 2019 exam are announced the counselling session begins at 10th July 2019.

LEET 2019 Eligibility

  • Applicants should have passed Part 1 of B.Sc/B.Tech or have a Diploma in Engineering.

  • General applicants must have scored at least 45 percent aggregate marks in the qualifying examination, according to the eligibility criteria.

  • An applicant with a B.Sc 1st Year degree must have studied Engineering Drawing/Engineering Graphics at the same level with other subjects of 2nd year.

  • Applicants eligibility criteria are to be an Indian national or Person of Indian Origin or Overseas citizen of India.

  • There are reserved quotas for those the aggregate marks to fulfil the eligibility criteria is the graduate level qualifying exam stands at 40%.

LEET 2019 Application Process

  • Candidate can apply for LEET 2019 only online mode.

Online registration:

  • Registration: Candidates who are applying for LEET 2019 need to go to the official website and register.

  • Filling application: After the registration is done, the candidate needs to fill the application form on the official website.

  • Uploading necessary scanned copies: Candidates have to upload the latest scanned photograph and signature.

  • Application fee: The application form fee will be INR 500 for General and OBC and for SC/ST/PWD the application form fee will be INR 200.
  • Payment Process: After filling the application and uploading the scanned copies candidate make the payment through online such as Credit Card/Debit Card or any online payment process. Or have to pay by cash against generated e-challan.

  • Section A (1-25) tests the basic sciences of the candidate: Questions based on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Communication Skills and General Awareness.

  • The eligibility criteria for MCA are any BSc degree holder having mathematics in 12th can do MCA(3 years) and for MCA (LEET)  only BCA students can take admission on MCA LEET.
