HBSE 12th Chemistry Exam Pattern 2026 – Section-Wise 

The HBSE 12th Chemistry Exam Pattern has a very simple structure. The absolute weightage of the Chemistry exam is one hundred marks. The theory exam’s timeline is three hours. Its assessment is seventy marks. Thirty marks are for the practical paper. In the theory exam, you will notice 5 sections from A to E.

In Section A, there will be eighteen objective-kind questions of 1 mark each. Section B comprises of seven very short questions of 2 marks each. In Section C, there will be five short questions of 3 marks each. In Section D, you will mainly observe two case-study-based questions of 4 marks each.
