AHSEC HS Physics exam pattern 2026 - Section Wise

The AHSEC HS Physics exam has a 70-mark theory section and a 30-mark practical section. The Physics theory paper is divided into four questions. In Question 1, 8 out of 15 objective type questions are to be answered, which are worth one mark out of a possible 8 marks. The 10 very short answer questions in Question 2 from the given 15 questions, each worth two marks, can be answered for a total of 20 marks. In Question 3, 9 short answer type questions are to be answered, which are worth three marks out of a possible 27 marks. The 3 long answer questions in Question 4 from the given 7 questions, each worth five marks, can be answered for a total of 15 marks. The exam takes three hours to complete.
