The Andhra Pradesh board has made major changes in the 12th board Biology syllabus. In order to align the syllabus with the National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020, several modifications have been made. The primary motivation behind the removal of several topics was that students were under a lot of academic strain, so a decrease was made to ease that burden. It is recommended that students review the removed material in order to better prepare for the AP Intermediate Exam. The pupils will have no trouble covering every topic prior to the board exams because a chunk of the syllabus has been removed. The topics from AP Intermediate Deleted Syllabus 2026 were either repetitive or not very important for the students.
The decision to reduce the AP Intermediate Syllabus has been taken after consulting the teachers, students, and parents. The change has been made keeping in mind the academic pressure on the students. The Andhra Pradesh board's official website, bieap-gov.org, has the deleted syllabus.
