AP Intermediate Chemistry Syllabus 2026 has been released by BIEAP on its website, bie.ap.gov.in. The changes in the AP Intermediate Syllabus 2026 as part of the board’s ongoing effort to align the curriculum with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) standards. The main reason behind the deletion of certain topics is that they have not undergone any major updates or developments in recent years, making them less relevant for today’s academic and competitive exam needs.
These changes aim to reduce the academic burden on students while encouraging a deeper understanding of key concepts for the AP Intermediate Exam 2026. While the official deleted syllabus is awaited, students are advised to focus on core topics that carry high weightage in the board exams. Some of the most important chapters in Chemistry include Organic Chemistry (especially reaction mechanisms and conversions), P-block Elements (particularly the properties and compounds of groups 15, 16, and 17), Chemical Kinetics (covering rate laws and integrated equations), and Electrochemistry (including electrochemical cells, the Nernst equation, and conductivity).
To prepare effectively, students should revise AP Intermediate Deleted Syllabus 2026 thoroughly, solve previous years’ question papers, and stay updated with announcements from BIEAP. These steps will help them stay on track and perform well in the upcoming AP Intermediate Chemistry exam.
