Punjab board releases all the information related to PSEB 12th date sheet 2022 on the official website. Students must note the important dates to create a study plan and prepare for the exams accordingly. Term 1 exams are scheduled to begin on 10th November 2021.

Examination Pattern and Evaluation Policy for Academic Session 2021-22

PSEB had announced the examination pattern for the board classes 10th and 12th for the academic year 2021-22, along with the evaluation policy, question paper pattern, weightage, etc. The announcement said that the academic session would be divided into two terms. The term 1 and term 2 examinations will take place in November-December 2021 and February-March 2022, respectively.

For the term 1 examination, students will get multiple-choice questions to answer. These examinations will not include any practical papers. Both the examinations will determine the final results of the students. The model question papers will be available on the board's website for the teachers to explain the new format to students.

PSEB Class 12th Date Sheet 2022

PSEB has started evaluating students by dividing the whole academic session into two terms. The syllabus will be 50% of the whole in each term. The board will release two separate date sheets for the two terms. On 26th October, PSEB released the date sheet of term I, which is given below. Students will find below a tentative timetable for term II also. However. The term I exams will commence in November 2021, whereas term II will be held in February-March 2022 (tentative).

Step 1: Go to the official website -

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'Date Sheet' option under the 'Important Links' section.

Step 3: On the new page, click on the "View Document" link next to the "Date Sheet Of November Examination -2021 (Senior Secondary)" option.

Important Instructions to Note Before Appearing in PSEB 12th Exam 2022

There are specific rules and guidelines that candidates must abide by to appear for the class 12th examination. Students must go through the essential instructions to appear for the PSEB 12th exam without any challenges - 

  • Students must carry their admit cards. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

  • It is a must to carry an identification card with you. It can be the school ID card or an Aadhaar card to enter the exam centre.

  • Carry a water bottle with you to stay hydrated.

  • It is good to time yourself while appearing for the exam. You are advised to carry a wristwatch to monitor your timing.

  • Unfair means will not be entertained in the exam centre. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against those caught red-handed.
