• The GATE 2025 exam is now over for ME/MTech admission. The GATE 2025 results will be announced on Mar 19, 2025.
• The NEET MDS 2025 application form for admission to the MDS and PG Diploma (Dental) is expected to be released soon. The NEET MDS 2025 exam will be conducted in March 2025 (Tentative).
• MBA 2025 applications are open for PU-MET, and the last date to apply is Apr 12, 2025. Further, PU-MET 2025 is to be held on April 27, 2025.

Panjab University (PU) was founded in 1882 as the University of the Panjab Lahore (now in Pakistan). Still, in 1947 it was relocated to Chandigarh, where it was partitioned between Pakistan and India. Panjab University (also known as PUCHD) is a university supported by the federal and state governments. PU offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and PG-diploma courses in engineering, applied science, medicine, fine arts and humanities. Admission will be based on merit or entrance exams like NEET UG/PG, GATE, PU Common Entrance Test, PU LLB (law), PU THST(hospitality), PUMEET (engineering), PULEET(lateral engineering), and MBAUSOL(management).

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded the university an 'A' grade with a 3.35 CGPA on a four-point scale. Panjab University has 188 affiliated colleges around the province, one rural, regional centre in Kauni and three regional centres in Muktsar, Ludhiana, and Hoshiarpur. PU is known for its facilities, quality of education and placements. In 2022, the highest package offered was INR 32 LPA, and the average package offered was INR 7.7 LPA.

Panjab University Admission

Panjab University admissions start with candidates filling out an online admission form with duly filled-in essential details. Only those applicants who manage to qualify the PU CET entrance examination will be considered eligible for the counseling session. Panjab University Result

Panjab University releases the examination result online on the university's official website. To check the mark sheet roll number is required. Students who aren't happy with the marks secured in the examination can apply for the revaluation. The revaluation form will be accepted within 30 days from the day of the announcement of the result.
