The Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka, has not yet released the official deleted syllabus for the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam for Biology. Students can, however, review the syllabus from the previous year (2024–25) to gain a sense of the subjects that were eliminated. 

Several significant subjects and even entire chapters were deleted in the biology syllabus for the 2024–2025 academic year. Notably, whole chapters were removed from topics like "Environmental Issues," "Strategies for Enhancement in Food Production," and "Reproduction in Organisms." Ecological Succession, Nutrient Cycling, and Adaptations to Abiotic Factors were among the other sections of "Organisms and Populations" and "Ecosystem" that were eliminated.
