TN HSC Sample Paper 2021

Directorate of government examinations conducts board exams for class 10th and 12th. Tamil Nadu HSC board exams are conducted for 70 marks for each subject, and 35 mark needs to be scored by the students to qualify the paper. The duration of each exam is 2.5 hours. For 2021, the Tamil Nadu board will conduct the 12th examination in May 2021. Therefore, candidates can make use of the model question papers given here for preparation.

Tamil Nadu HSC/12th Sample Paper 2021 - Highlights

Tamil Nadu board has released sample papers for students to prepare well for TN HSC board examination 2021. They released the sample paper in the new pattern, which is a total of 70 marks. The TN HSC Paper contains four sections. Section 'A' comprises only one value question (15 Marks) and part 'B' includes nine questions each of 2 marks. However, the student has to attempt any six questions (12 Marks) in which 1 question will be compulsory.

Section 'C' contains nine questions where each question is of 3 marks; a student is to answer any six questions (18 Marks). The final section, namely section 'D', contains ten questions of 5 marks each. So a student selects only five questions, but they are long answer types (25 Marks).

How to Download TN HSC Model Paper 2021?

TN HSC has uploaded the class 12th sample paper 2021 to its official website. Students can download them directly from the website or this page. Find below the step-by-step procedure to download the TN HSC 12th sample paper 2021:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the TN HSC Board - www.dge.tn.gov.in 

Step 2: Click on the "Question Bank" option under the "Services" section on the right side of the Home page.

Step 3: Now, the students are required to click on the "Higher Secondary Second Year - HSE(+2)" option.

TN HSC Board Exam 2021 Pattern

Directorate of Government Educations Tamil Nadu has released a circular stating the changes introduced in the question paper pattern for upcoming class 12th board exams 2021. The duration of the exam has been reduced from 3 hours to 2.5 hours. So all the upcoming exams of class 12 class will be of 150 minutes for the regular students.
Students who will sit for their compartmental exams will find no change in the duration of the exam. Thus, they will get 3 hours to write the exam. Also, the maximum marks for each exam have been reduced to 100 from 200 marks earlier.

How to Prepare for TN HSC Board Exam 2021?

Confidence: Positive attitude towards exams is the utmost important fact you should have in yourself to crack your exam successfully.

Time management: Time management is another important thing in preparation. Set a deadline for each subject, and then only you will able to complete your studies within time.

Revision: To complete the study in time is essential, but revision is more important in your study. Revision is just like a final touch to your study. Follow the TN HSC syllabus prescribed by the board.

Study method: Set your study hours and right study place. Allocate more time to the subjects who are tougher than others on which you already have a grip. It will make such subjects easier at the time of examinations.

Refreshments and rest:

  • Allocate some time to the refreshment activities daily.

  • Take a good 6-7 hours of comfortable sleep.

  • Ensure that your bed is much comfortable for sleep.
