RBSE 12th Biology Exam Pattern 2026 – Section Wise Classification
The RBSE 12th Biology Exam Pattern is very simple to comprehend. The total assessment of the Biology paper is one hundred marks. The theory exam is for seventy marks. Out of this valuation of seventy marks, fourteen marks are for the sessional paper, and fifty-six marks are for the main theory exam. Thirty marks are for the practical assessment.
For the main theory exam of 56 marks, you will get 3 hours and 15 minutes to solve all the questions. There will be four sections (A to D) in the theory exam. Section A will have a mix of 34 MCQs, fill-in-the-blanks, and very short types of questions (half-mark and one-mark questions). Section B will have twelve short questions of 1½ marks each. Section C will contain three long questions of 3 marks each. In section D, you will have to answer two essay-type questions of 4 marks each.
