MBSE HSSLC board exam routine has been released by the board. The theory examination will commence by 5 March 2019 whereas the practical examination will commence by 18 Feb 2019.

  • About: The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE HSSLC) is an autonomous government academic administration in Mizoram, India, having its jurisdiction from elementary to higher secondary education.

  • It was established by the Government of Mizoram in 1975 by the Mizoram Board of School Education Act. It has the power to regulate, supervise and control school education in Mizoram.

  • It gives academic programmes and organises examinations, especially for state-level High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC).

  • From 2012, the board also conducts State Entrance Examination (STEE) for entry into various courses such as engineering, medicine, veterinary science, pharmacy, nursing, homoeopathy, and dentistry.

Structure of the board: Structurally the Board is divided into three main branches – General, Academic and Examination.

  • General: The Deputy Secretary is the head of the General Branch. He is responsible for matters relating to administration, establishment, properties, etc. He is assisted by the Under Secretary and other subordinate staff.

  • Academic: The Director of Academics is the head of the Academic Branch. He is assisted in his work by three officers of the branch viz., one Senior Academic Officer and two Academic Officers and subordinate staff.

  • Examination: The Controller of Examinations (CE) is the head of the Examination Branch and is responsible for all matters concerning examinations and administration of examinations. The CE is assisted by three officers of the branch viz., a Deputy Controller of Examinations and two Assistant Controller of Examinations and subordinate staff.

MBSE HSSLC Routine 2019:

  • Source: The official website of Mizoram is one of the best sources for the students to check the Routine for the upcoming examination. The students can check their date sheet according to their stream on the official website. Students can download the MBSE 12TH TimeTable/DateSheet in the PDF format. 

  • Release Date:  The Date Sheet will be released 2-3 weeks before the MBSE HSSLC final exams. Students have to prepare for their exam according to the Routine which will be provided by the MBSE Board.

MBSE HSSLC Board Registration 2019:

  • Registration: MBSE Form will be available online at the official site of the board. The students of MBSE HSSLC are required to fill the MBSE 12th Application Form 2019 at the earliest before the last date arrives.

  • Details: Students can read more about the MBSE HSSLC Registration Form by going through the official site. The board will publish the detailed notification about the registration which will give reference to the students.

  • Mandatory: It is obligatory for the students in the Class 12th to apply and complete the registration for the MBSE HSSLC Board Exam. The school can do the same on behalf of the students.

  • Stipulated Date: One must complete Registration on time. It is obligatory for all the selected candidates to submit the online application before the stipulated deadline.


MBSE HSSLC Board Admit Card 2019:

  • Once the registration is completed the board releases the admit card. Without Hall Ticket candidate cannot appear for the board exams.

  • The MBSE 12th Board Exam Admit Card 2019 can be downloaded from the website. Also, the board will distribute the Hall Ticket for 10th and 12th in the schools that are affiliated to it. 
  • The MBSE HSSLC Admit Card should be verified after downloading. In case if the admit card is not correct then the student can approach to their school examination department for the correction in the admit card.


 MBSE HSSLC Syllabus 2019:

  • Site: From the website students can download the latest syllabus. The updated MBSE 12th Syllabus 2019 is available in the "syllabus section" of the website.

  • From the syllabus, the candidates will get an idea about the topic that will ask in the board examination.

  • The MBSE HSSLC Board Syllabus will be in the form of PDF format. The board has provided the syllabus for all the streams along with the blueprint for the different units.  


MBSE HSSLC Results 2019: 

  • To check the Mizoram 12th Board Results of the MBSE, the students can visit the official website of the Board. From the result available on the website, students can get all the information about the marks they got in their theory as well as practical examination.

  • Release Date: The release date of the MBSE HSSLC Board Results is the month of April (tentative) 2019. 

  • Results: The MBSE publishes the results for Secondary and Sr. Secondary classes for all together on the same day for the different district of the state. The candidates need to enter the roll number along with the unique code.

A. One must prepare a proper schedule by allocating specific hours to each subject in order to have the required focus and attention in the time span.

Exam stress is a common theme in the students, in order to come out of it, certain breaks must be added in the routine

Q. Has the board fixed any age criteria for appearing in the examination?

A. As if now there are no such age criteria for appearing in the exam

Q. What if I don't do well in the exam?

A. If at all the examination didn't go well, one shouldn't get worried as there must be something else the candidate is good at.

Hence the next step would be to find out the alternative. Rechecking is also an option if the candidate feels he/she has done well yet got fewer marks.

Q. When to start preparing for the exam?

A. The candidates are advised to start preparing from the 1st day of intermediate but focus on boards must be raised from at least 6 months before examination
