The Directorate of General Education, Government of Kerala, releases the Kerala Plus Two Physics Syllabus 2023-24. The Plus Two Physics syllabus answer key 2023-24 DHSE is divided into two parts, consisting of chapters related to Electric charges, Ray optics, atoms, nuclei and many more.

Students must follow the curriculum as it helps them to learn the units and chapters in detail. The marks allocated for each unit are also mentioned in the syllabus, which enables the students to strategize appropriately for the Kerala Plus Two Exam 2024. The Kerala Plus Two Physics exam is conducted for 100 marks, of which 70 is for the main paper and 30 for practicals.

Kerala Plus Two Physics Deleted Syllabus 2023-24

The Kerala Board has reduced the Kerala Plus Two Physics Syllabus 2023-24. Topics such as Electric Charges, Magnetism, electricity, and many more have been removed from the curriculum. Students must know the topics to create an effective study plan.

  • Electric Charge (delete only activity with paper strips and making electroscope)
  • Conductors and Insulators (delete only concept of earthing)
  • Charging by Induction Exercises (1.13, 1.25 - 1.34)

Chapter 2: Electrostatic Potential and Capacitance

  • Energy Stored in a Capacitor (delete only derivation)
  • Exercises (2.12 to 2.36)

Chapter 3: Current Electricity

  • Resistivity of Various Materials (delete Tables 3.1 and 3.2 and Carbon resistors, Colour code for carbon resistor)
