The ISC class 12 Economics syllabus 2024 will help the students reflect on a study of the economics theory with specific reference to the Indian Economy. The updated syllabus will help students understand the facts, terms, concepts, conventions, trends, principles, generalisations, assumptions, hypotheses, problems, processes, etc. in Economics.

Moreover, the board will tentatively conduct the ISC class 12 Economics paper in February 2024 in the offline mode. There will be one paper of two hours duration carrying 80 marks and Internal Assessment of 20 marks.

ISC Class 12 Economics 2024 Syllabus: Chapter-Wise Details

The ISC Economics syllabus 2024 is divided into two sections. In Section I, the first part will consist of compulsory short answer questions testing knowledge, application and skills relating to elementary/fundamental aspects.

Likewise, part two will consist of eight questions, out of which candidates will be required to answer five questions, each carrying 12 marks.

Section A in the ISC class 12 Economics paper will be conducted for 80 marks, containing 6 chapters. Students must understand the weightage of each chapter to start their preparation accordingly.

ISC Class 12 Economics Syllabus 2024: Individual Assessment

The school authorities conduct the individual assessment for 20 marks. Candidates will be expected to have completed two projects from any topic covered in Theory.
