JKBOSE cancels the class 10th exam and postpones the class 12th exam!

The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir's office made an announcement regarding the class 10th and class 12th board exams on their Twitter handle on 15th April 2021. Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has decided to postpone the remaining class 12th board exams and cancel class 10th exams due to the state's rising coronavirus cases. Moreover, according to the latest news, Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) had released the class 10th admit card for summer zone on 22nd March 2021. Students can visit schools affiliated with JKBOSE and collect their admit card before the commencement of the exam.

The board will conduct JK board supplementary examinations 2021 for students who did not pass the regular assessment. Students will need to apply on the supplementary application form to appear in the same, and they will be provided with JKBOSE supplementary admit card 2021 before the commencement of the exams.

JKBOSE will not be reducing the syllabus to 30% like other boards such as CBSE. Instead, they have announced a relaxation over the examination paper for 10th, 11th, and 12th. The examination will be choice-based, i.e., students will only have to attempt 70% of the question paper, and it will be equivalent to 100% in the score.
