Manipur board postpones HSLC and HSE board exams!

Manipur Board of Education functions as two subsections: BSEM (Board of Secondary Education Manipur) for class 10th and the other is COHSEM (Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur) for class 12th. BSEM was established in 1972 by the act of the Manipur Legislative Assembly. The Board also carries out the conducting of exams, curriculum development, syllabus, printing, and distribution of textbooks.

Previously, the Board conducted exams for class 12th under the Secondary Board and Pre-university. Later, after the establishment of the Council, Manipur Board amalgamated it under the Higher secondary course. Both HSLC and HSE exams are conducted in February and March every year. The Board publishes the results for both HSLC and HSE exams on manresults.nic.in the official results website.

Manipur Board Time Table 2021

Manipur education board will release the new HSLC timetable on bsem.nic.in for the candidates to download the Manipur Board time table 2021. The board had scheduled to conduct the HSLC exams from 19th April 2021 onwards. However, the board decided to postpone the HSLC and HSE exams until further notice.

The Higher Secondary Board will release the HSE time table on the official website - cohsem.nic.in where candidates can easily visit and download the time table as a PDF file. 

Manipur Board Registration 2021

Candidates appearing for the board exams have to complete the exam registration process. Registration forms have to be filled out under the guidance of school/college authorities to avoid errors. Manipur Board will release the HSLC registration notification online on its official website - bsem.nic.in and HSE registration notification on the official website - cohsem.nic.in for the candidates to download. 

Candidates can visit the respective websites to check the Manipur board registration 2021 notification to complete the registration process before the specified date. Late submission of the registration form is subject to paying a fine, and if submitted one week after the final date, the candidates may not be able to appear in the Board exams.

Manipur Board Admit card 2021

BSEM will release the HSLC admit card for the 2021 board exam ten days before the commencement of exams. Manipur Board admit 2021 cards will be available to all candidates, including regular, non-regular, private, and vocational. Manipur Board admit card 2021 for HSE exams will be released a week before the commencement of exams.

School authorities will download the COHSEM HSE admit card 2021 and issue the same to their candidates. COHSEM HSE admit card 2021 contains essential details like school name, candidate's name, exam centre, address, subject, etc. Manipur HSE board examination 2021 was scheduled to commence on 5th May 2021, which has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.

Manipur Board Results 2021

Candidates must visit their respective official websites to check Manipur board results 2021. Candidates appearing for HSLC exams are required to visit bsem.nic.in whereas candidates appearing for HSE exams should visit cohsem.nic.in to check their results. Results for HSLC and HSE will be released after 30-45 days from the conclusion of exams.

Manipur board will publish the HSE and HSLC exam syllabus online on the respective official websites. Candidates can visit the website to get the link to download the Manipur board syllabus 2021 as PDF files. Manipur board will always release the revised and updated syllabus. Syllabus plays a significant role in revealing the stress of the candidates at the time of examination. 

General Instructions for Manipur Board Exams 2021 

  • Make sure to carry the admit card, without which candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

  • Carry all the necessary instruments like pen, pencil, eraser, scale, instrument box for a maths exam. You cannot borrow anything from other candidates from the exam hall.

  • Candidates are not allowed to use scientific calculators for the accountancy exam. Only ordinary calculators are permitted.

  • Candidates using calculators make sure that it is working fine, if not purchase a new one. Do not take a risk during the exam.

  • Candidates have to be in the examination hall 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

  • Write the registration number and the other credentials in the main answer sheet correctly, without any errors.

  • Attending the comfortable and confident questions first will help you grab the attention and trust of the invigilator.

  • Take rest and maintain a proper diet and sleep patterns during the study holidays to stay fresh and healthy at the time of exams.

  • Have your breakfast before going to attend the exam, because an empty stomach will disturb you when you write the exams.
