Based on the latest updates, the NIOS board has decided to open the registration process from 1st March 2021, for the candidates willing to give the upcoming board exams 2021. Students must be in frequent contact with the official website of the board for more info.

These two departments develop education programs and courses to allow the learners in pursuing the study of their choice. Both departments collaborate to build functional systems to benefit the students. NIOS has enrolled nearly 1.5 million candidates from 2004 to 2009 at Secondary and Senior Secondary levels and enrols about 350,000 students annually, making it the world's most extensive open schooling system.

NIOS has collaborated with the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and UNESCO. The National Institute of Schooling has international study centres as well, below mentioned are a few of them.

NIOS Date Sheet 2021

Candidates under the National Institute of Schooling's province, preparing for the board exams, can visit the NIOS's official website or this page for the latest updates on the NIOS 10th and 12th date sheet 2021. According to the new schedule, the Secondary & Sr. Secondary examinations will commence in January 2021. 

NIOS has released the date sheet for the upcoming examinations of Secondary and Senior Secondary. The exams which were earlier scheduled for October-November 2020 will now be conducted in January and February 2021. Those students who wish to appear in the NIOS exams 2021 can visit sdmis.nios.ac.in to pay the examination fee.

NIOS Admission Form 2021

NIOS application form is available online on the official website of the board. Candidates studying in the 10th/12th class must fill out the NIOS board 10th/12th application form at the earliest before the last date arrives. NIOS has discharged the online registration form for the NIOS 12th/10th board exam on their official website. Students who don't know how to apply for the registration form online can check this website's registration form section. 

All students in the 10th/12th class must fill out the NIOS admission form 2021 at the latest and before the stipulated deadline to avoid paying a penalty fee or becoming ineligible. The school can also formally go through the application process on behalf of the students. Applicants who wish to appear in the NIOS board exam 2021 must complete the registration before the last date.

NIOS Hall Ticket 2021

Hall ticket is an essential document to appear in the exam. The National Open School does not allow students without the hall ticket inside the exam halls. Hall tickets contain details such as the student's name, roll number, branch, father name, and the NIOS Secondary/Sr exam's rules and regulations. Secondary. If the admit card has incorrect details, students must notify school authorities immediately to rectify the error.

Verification of the NIOS hall ticket is essential for every student who is going to attempt the examination. The NIOS board had released the 10th, and 12th exam hall tickets 2021 on 16th January 2021. Therefore, the National Open School will distribute the admit cards through the affiliated schools.

NIOS Result 2021

NIOS will declare the class 10th and 12th results 2021 in March 2021 (tentative). Candidates can visit the official website of the Board to check NIOS results 2021. The whole procedure of checking answer sheets and incorporating results takes around six weeks from the last examination date. Candidates only need to enter their roll number and the unique captcha on the results webpage to download their results.

About the NIOS Board

NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) is the education board controlled by the Government of India, earlier known as National open school, started in 1989. NIOS is a national board that conducts examinations for the 10th and 12th, which is the same as CBSE and the ISCE to decrease illiteracy and provide education to rural and urban areas.

NIOS aims to provide adequate teaching and flexible learning to children staying in remote areas. NIOS was established to provide distance education for the 10th and 12th, approximately 15 lakh students enrol for class 10th, and 3.5 lakh students for class 12th annually, making it the most extensive open schooling system in the world.

Admissions:

Please note that a candidate must be 14 years of age to be admitted to class 10th and 15 years of age for admission to class 12th. 

  • NIOS admission is entirely based on online methods.

  • Interested students can apply within the specified dates as announced by NIOS. The application website will be closed after the final date notified from NIOS.

  • Students must go through the NIOS prospectus and all the instructions before applying.

  • Students must keep all the documents ready with them before filling out the application form, and they must refer to the records to fill in the details so that they can avoid confusion.
