What is the CBSE Class 10th Mathematics Exam Pattern?

The CBSE Class 10th Mathematics exam pattern has a very simple interpretation. The assessment of the theory exam is eighty marks, and its duration is three hours (an extra fifteen minutes will be given to read the paper). Twenty marks are for the internal assessment. Hence, the full valuation of the CBSE Class 10th Mathematics exam is one hundred marks. 

The main theory paper will have a total of thirty-eight questions, and there will be five sections in it (A to E). In section A, the first eighteen questions will be MCQs of 1 mark each, and the remaining two questions will be assertion-reasoning type of 1 mark each. In section B, there will be five very short questions of 2 marks each. Section C will consist of six short questions of 3 marks each. In Section E, you will notice four long questions of 5 marks each. The last section will be E, and it will have three case-study-based questions of 4 marks each.
