Maharashtra SSC Mathematics exam pattern 2026 - Section Wise

The theory portion of the Maharashtra SSC Mathematics exam is worth 80 marks, while the practical portion is worth 20. The theory paper of Maharashtra SSC Mathematics is divided into two papers - Algebra and Geometry, each conducted for maximum 40 marks. In both the papers, there are no sections but 5 questions with several subparts of different types.8 of Part 1's multiple choice questions (MCQs) and very short answer questions are given one mark each, for a total of 8 marks.

There are six short answer questions in Part 2, each scoring two marks, for a total of 12 marks. Part 3 contains 3 short answer questions at three marks each, for a total score of 9. Part 4 contains 2 long answer questions of four marks each, for a total score of 8. Part 5 contains 1 short answer question at three marks each, for a total score of 3.
