Subject-wise UP Board 10th Question Pattern 2025-26

The topics of the question paper for each subject will be curated based on the latest curriculum as per the UP Board Class 10th 2025-26 exam pattern. The important points regarding the question patterns for the UP Board Class 10th exam are given below.

• The question paper will contain different types of questions, such as MCQ, objective, short, and long answer questions.
• The question paper consists of two parts. 
• Thirty per cent of the first section will be MCQ, where candidates must answer them on an OMR sheet. 
• Seventy per cent of the descriptive questions will be allocated in the next section, and candidates need to answer them in an answer sheet.

UP Board 10th Exam Pattern 2025-26: Marking Distribution

A total of 100 marks is allocated for each subject under the UP Board class 10 2026 exam. The science subjects contain 70 marks for the theory paper and 30 marks for the practical assessments.

UP Board 10th Marking Distribution 2025-26: Internal Assessment

• A total of five monthly tests are conducted for internal assessment. 
• The marking of the assessment will be based on the student’s performance in the five tests. 
• The first three tests will be based on the MCQ, and each test is allocated 4 marks.
