Candidates can apply for the application form via the official website, as it will be available online. Kerala Board SSLC Application Form 2021

Candidates should compulsorily fill out the Kerala SSLC application form before the last date. Those who fail to submit the application form will not be allowed to appear for the board examinations. 

NOTE:

  • Candidates appearing for the Kerala SSLC examination are categorized as follows:
    1. SGC - School Going Candidates
    2. RAC - Re-Admitted Candidates 
    3. ARC - Attendance Recouped Candidates
    4. CCC - Candidature Cancelled Candidates
    5. BT - Betterment of Results Candidate
    6. PVT - Private Candidates
  • The process of completing the application form is different for each category of candidates.

  • School going candidates need not provide their data and photograph to register for the Kerala SSLC examination 2021.

  • In case of any error, they can correct it online and get the print out countersigned by the head of their institution and submit them to respective DEOs.

  • All other candidates have to fill out the application form and submit the same along with prescribed fees to the Headmaster of the examination centre they have chosen on stipulated dates.

Importance of Kerala SSLC Application Form 2021

  • All the details provided by the examinees will be reflected in subsequent documents like hall ticket and mark sheet.

  • Hence the candidate has to be extremely careful while filling out the application form details.

  • It is advised that the candidates fill out the application form under teachers' or parents' supervision.

Points to Consider While Filling Kerala SSLC Application Form [PVT/BT]

  • The examinees have to take a print out of this form on an A4 size sheet and fill the required columns in legible handwriting.

  • The authority also accepts handwritten application forms in the above format.

  • Candidates have to submit an identification certificate along with the application form.

  • Private candidates must choose the same examination centre where they have previously been selected.

  • Private candidates must provide all details of previous attempts. If any information is deliberately left out, they will not be permitted to appear for the exam.

  • Private candidates should also attach their previous mark sheets along with the SSLC application form 2020 for private candidates.

  • Private candidates should also keep a copy of the photograph on the identity card provided. Your name should be mentioned on the backside of the photograph. The admission ticket will carry this photograph.

  • BT (Betterment of Results) candidates should specifically mention their category in the application form.

  • The application form may get rejected. Reasons for rejection include the following:

  • Incomplete application form

  • Application form submitted after the last date

  • Application fee not paid in full

  • Candidates must carefully and correctly provide all the following details on the application form.

    • Name of the examination centre

    • Code of the examination centre

    • Name of the candidate 

    • Gender

    • Address of the candidate and phone number

    • Religion and caste

    • Date of birth

    • Eligible for fee deduction (if yes, mention the category)

    • Name of the guardian

    • Medium of study

    • Scheme of the examination [Old/New]

    • No. of previous attempts

    • No. of subjects not eligible for higher studies

    • Details of the examination to be written

    • Details of the no of subjects passed

    • Details of previous attempts

    • Fee details

    • Signature of the candidate
