ICSE Class 10 Physics Syllabus 2023-24: Marking Scheme
The theory paper of physics under the ICSE examination 2023-24 will be separated into two sections. The question under Section I is compulsory to answer and the other section will contain six questions, out of which candidates are required to attain four questions.

ICSE Class 10 Physics Syllabus 2023-24: Internal Assessment
The internal assessment for the physics subject is allotted 20 marks as per the ICSE Class 10 Physics Syllabus 2023-24. The following are the important points regarding the internal assessment of Physics as mentioned in the ICSE Class 10 Physics 2023-24 Syllabus.
- Candidates will be given a list of experiments that they have to conduct or demonstrate as instructed by the examiners.
- It is expected that candidates may have to carry out ten experiments.
- The subject matter of experiments can be based on the topics covered in the ICSE physics class 10 syllabus 2024 or teachers can curate their own set of experiments based on the board guidelines.
- Candidates are required to refer to the concepts of what they studied in the theory chapters which include least count, significant figures, elementary error handling, etc.
ICSE Class 10 Physics Syllabus 2023-24: Evaluation
The evolution process under ICSE Class 10 Physics is carried out by an internal examiner and an external examiner. The important facts regarding the evolution process of the assignments under the internal exam of physics are given below as mentioned in the ICSE class 10 physics syllabus 2024:
- Only the internal and external examiners will evaluate the project or practical work.
- The 20 marks allotted for the internal examination are divided between the assessment of the internal and external examiner.
- The school head is responsible for appointing the external examiner, who does not teach the subject in the same class.
- The head of the school will inform the total marks gained in the internal examination to the council after all assessments are over.
