NBSE HSLC Result 2021

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) is the authority that conducts the final board examination for class 10th across the state. NBSE will release the HSLC result 2021 in June 2021 (tentative). NBSE HSLC board exam results will be available to students on the board's official website - nbsenagaland.com 

After the results' declaration, if students are not satisfied with their marks, they can apply for re-evaluation/re-checking by paying a nominal fee and registering on the official website. NBSE class 10th re-evaluation and the re-checking option is made available four days after the announcement of NBSE 10th results on the official website.

NBSE HSLC Result 2021 Highlights 

Nagaland Board HSLC exams are generally held in February. This year, class 10th exams commenced on 7th April 2021 and concluded on 21st April 2021. Please note the NBSE 10th result 2021 date and other information regarding NBSE 10th board exam 2021 given in the following table.

How to Check NBSE HSLC Result 2021?

The online results are only provisional. The original pass certificates and the mark sheets will be issued to those candidates who successfully clear the board examination. The respective schools will be required to collect and distribute the mark sheets and pass certificates to their candidates.

Certification Criteria for NBSE HSLC Board Exam 2021

A candidate shall get at least 33% marks in all the five external examination subjects in the main or the compartmental exams to be declared pass in the final examination. Criteria laid down by the Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) to clear each subject to attain the "Pass" certificate is given below.

  • A minimum of 33% marks in aggregate (theory or practical wherever applicable) for the board examination.

  • The marks obtained in the internal assessment will be displayed separately in the mark sheet.

  • A minimum of 33% marks in the aggregate as well as separately in both theory and practicals in the final examination.

  • The marks obtained in the internal assessment will be displayed separately in the mark sheet.

NBSE HSLC Results Previous Year Statistics

In 2020, a total of 22392 candidates appeared for class 10th board exams, out of which 15680 students qualified for the examinations. The overall pass percentage for the year 2020 was 70.02%. Moreover, a total of 2140 students from government schools passed the class 10th exam, resulting in a pass rate of 47.40%. Furthermore, 86.28% of private school students passed the HSLC exam.
