About The Global Open University, [TGOU] Dimapur:

The Global Open University, a state level university was established in the year 2006 under the Act 2006 by The Government of Nagaland. The courses of TGOU are approved by University Grants Commission (UGC), Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Commonwealth of Learning (COL). TGOU has many master degree programmes, bachelor degree programmes and diploma courses at this University. TGOU also offers short-term online certificate courses apart from its distance education degree courses which include only registration.

TGOU has all necessary facilities i.e. Library, Computer Lab, Classrooms with 200 Academic staff. TGOU was recognised by the Distance Education Council in 2008 and was accorded provisional recognition for offering distance programmes the same year. It is situated opposite the Railway Station, Dimapur in Nagaland.

• Candidate should have cleared (10+2) or Higher Senior Secondary Certificate Examination from the CBSE or from any other equivalent recognised board.
• Candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.

• Candidate should have cleared Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University or equivalent to it.
• Candidate should scored a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
• All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
