The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has announced the exam dates for the West Bengal Madhyamik board exams 2025. As per the announcement, the West Bengal Madhyamik exams 2025 will be held from 12 Feb 2025 to 24 Feb 2025 in pen and paper mode. Furthermore, the board concluded the West Bengal class 10th board exams 2024 on 12 Feb 2024. An estimated 8.76 lakh candidates wrote their papers across the state for the class 10th board exams.

The board will start the West Bengal class 10th exams from 12 Feb 2025 in pen and paper mode. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education will release the detailed WBBSE Madhyamik board examination routine on its official website. 

Note: 

• First Languages: Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Modern Tibetan, Nepali, Odia, Gurmukhi (Punjabi), Telugu, Tamil, Urdu, and Santali.
• Second Languages: If any language other than English, English is offered as First Language. Bengali or Nepali if English is the First Language.

Important Points for West Bengal Madhyamik Exam 2025

Candidates can go through the critical points mentioned below to get an overall idea of the West Bengal Madhyamik exam 2025:

• Timing of the examination: - 11.45 AM to 3.00 PM.
• The first 15 minutes of the test is to read the question paper. Candidates are not supposed to write anything during this time.
• The exam for needlework and sewing will be four hours and 15 minutes.
• Music instrumentation & music vocal for the theoretical part will be for 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• The course of the Computer Application examination will be 2 hours and 45 minutes long.
• The practical test will be conducted by the schools affiliated with the board.
