It is necessary for the students to know the question paper pattern, to prepare for the Social Science board exam.The maximum marks for the Social Science question paper is 80. There are six sections to it. Multiple-choice questions make up Section I, which is worth eight marks. Section II is worth eight marks and consists of very short answer questions. Short answer questions make up Section III, which is worth 16 points. Long answer questions make up Section IV, which is worth 27 points. Section V is worth 16 points and consists of very long answer questions. Section VI consists of map related question and is of 5 marks. The pattern of the Social Science question paper is given in the following table:
