Preparation Tips:

Defeat yourself: Candidates appearing for the board exam should keep a track of their past performance i.e. the marks scored by them in the unit and the sample/practice papers and they have to get prepared to defeat themselves rather than competing with others. Keep trying to crack your own score in each test.

Keep close touch with the Syllabus book: Candidates have to go through and prepare according to the syllabus book. It will have the blueprint or scheme of evaluation, this will help you to prepare and score well in the examination.

Identify your weak points and avoid it: All are not perfect in all the fields. Candidates have to identify their week points and try to not to repeat their week points, eg. If a candidate is weak in any one subject he/she has to get well prepared with those subjects with which they are comfortable and score well in that subject in order to cover up the shortage in the weak subject.

Refer sample and practice papers: Solving sample and practice papers will help in building confidence in the candidates. It will help the candidates to figure out the areas where they have to concentrate more and realize their mistakes and make note of the common mistake that they commit in the exams which will hold back their marks.

Maintain a proper sleep: Candidates appearing for the board exams will be very tensed with the exams and busy with the preparations, but they should not spend the whole night studying. Maintain a proper sleep of 5-6 hours to stay fresh and calm.

Paper presentation: Presentation of the paper will help to score better in the exams. Improve your writing skills and try to bring in all the relevant and important points related to the topic in the answers.

Self-study: Candidates who were going for coaching and tuition classes should avoid all those in the study/preparation holidays. Make use of that time for self-study it will help in knowing your potential. And make notes or note down the points that are important from the viewpoint of the examination.
