AP SSC Syllabus 2021

The syllabus published by the AP board will help the students in AP SSC board exam preparation for both regular and AP SSC supplementary exams 2021. The AP board regulates the syllabus for SSC exams once every five years. The AP SSC board 2021 will provide the syllabus on its official website– bse.ap.gov.in and AP SSC syllabus 2021 will be available as PDF files so that students can download it easily for reference.

AP SSC Syllabus 2021 (All Subjects)

The board releases the AP SSC syllabus for five compulsory subjects: Mathematics, English, General Science, Social Science, and Hindi. The syllabus consists of topics and sub-topics of each subject to be aware of what they will study in the academic year. Moreover, the class 10th syllabus consists of the exam pattern and marking scheme of each subject. Students are advised to create a study plan and complete the syllabus one month before the commencement of the exam so that there is time to revise. AP SSC Maths Syllabus

Mathematics is a subject that requires a hold on formulas and practices numerical problems consistently. AP SSC English Syllabus

Students do not put much effort into English subject as they find it easy and effortless. However, English requires reading skills, comprehension and writing skills to ace the exam. Therefore, students are advised to put in a little effort while preparing for this subject. We have provided the AP SSC English syllabus below for better preparation:

• There will be three passages of about 650 words. The passages will have one of the following types:

• Factual passage, e.g. instruction, description, report

• Discursive passage involving opinion, e.g. argumentative, persuasive or interpretative text

Section B: Writing

• Linguistic Task, where a student builds a composition with assistance.

• A short composition of no more than 50 words, e.g. notes or notice, message, telegram, short postcard.

• The composition will be based on verbal and/or visual stimuli such as an advertisement, notice, newspaper cutting.

• Composition based on verbal and/or visual stimuli such as a diagram, picture, graph, map, cartoon, or flowchart.

Section C: Grammar

Section D:

• Two different extracts from two different poems from the prescribed section each followed by two or three questions set to test.

• One or two questions based on the drama texts from the prescribed sections to test local and global comprehension of the set text.

• One question is based on prose texts from the prescribed reader to test global comprehension and extrapolation beyond the set text.

• One extended question will be asked based on the prose texts from the prescribed reader to test global comprehension and extrapolation beyond the set text.

AP SSC Social Science Syllabus 2021

Note:

• As far as the syllabus is concerned, there will be different question papers for each subject.

• If any student attempts or answers a wrong set of question papers as the one assigned, the candidate will be disqualified.

• Students who appear at the wrong centre than the one allotted will also be disqualified.

AP SSC Board 2021- Verification of Marks

The board does the verification of marks as per the following criteria:

• The board provides the re-verification facility of xerox copies of valued answer scripts for three language papers, Mathematics, General Science.

• The procedure of verification includes Retotaling and Recounting of marks obtained by the Students.

• No answer paper will be revalued in this process, and only answers awarded with zero marks will be taken into account.

• Students who are not satisfied with the marks can apply for re-verification by paying Rs.1000 per subject through Challan.

• Along with the application, Students have to attach xerox copies of the hall ticket and dummy marks memo, a self-addressed envelope of 12 X 9 with the headmaster's address.
