CUET Result 2024 (Jun 30): Download Scorecard @cuet.nta.nic.in

CUET result 2024 for UG will be released on the official website i.e., cuet.nta.nic.in by NTA authorities. Candidates can access the CUET scorecard on the official website using their login information like application number and password from Jun 30, 2024, as announced in the official notification. CUET scorecard 2024 includes the candidate's name, program, category, overall and sectional marks, and rank.

There is no possibility for revaluation or rechecking after the NTA declares the CUET exam result. CUET participating institutes will announce the CUET cutoff  2024 for admission for various undergraduate courses. Shortlisted candidates will be called for CUET counselling 2024 process. Candidates who intend to be admitted to any central universities participating in CUET 2024 must attain a good entrance exam score.

Steps to Check CUET 2024 Result

It is essential for candidates to download their results and check their candidature status after it is released. The candidates can follow the steps below to conveniently access their CUET scorecards 2024.

• Step 1: Official Website: Candidates must go to the official website for CUET 2024 i.e., cuet.nta.nic.in
• Step 2: Login Details: Candidate must enter their login details, such as application ID, password, and code, as shown in the image.

• Step 3: Result Print-Out: After entering their login details, the candidates must take a printout of CUET 2024 result copy for future reference. The candidate has to keep the scorecard carefully for the CUET 2024 counselling session.

• No scorecard of CUET 2024 will be sent by email or posted to candidates individually.

CUET Merit List 2024

Every institute participating in CUET 2024 will release its merit list shortly after the announcement of CUET result 2024. The preparation criteria for all 9 universities shall vary from one another. The CUET merit list prepared for the examination is based on aggregate marks percentage obtained by candidates in qualifying degree courses or board certifications and marks obtained in CUET.

These combined will factor in the candidate's position on the merit list. The weightage of these two is 30%- qualifying degree course and/ or board certificate (10, 10+2) and 70% - CUET marks

Note: If two or more candidates are tied at the same score, the tiebreaker will be scored/ marks in the qualifying exam with a score of all subjects being considered. The counselling process will commence with the students who make it to the merit list successfully. The counselling dates for every college will be different. Hence, admission seekers are advised to check it on the university's official website. Document verification and admission formalities are carried out at the CUET counselling 2024.

CUET Result 2024 Score Normalization Process

The CUET result 2024 will be prepared using the "Equipercentile method" by the National Testing Agency. Using this procedure, the raw score of each candidate in each topic will be normalized. Raw marks for each subject for which the CUET exam is held in several shifts will be translated into normalised marks on a common scale.

• Step 1: Convert raw scores into CUET percentile scores

The percentage of each group of students for each shift will be computed using the raw marks they have obtained to calculate the normalized scores of the candidates who appeared across multiple sessions in a specific subject. The percentile scores will be calculated using the formula below.

• Step 2: Arranging CUET percentiles in a descending order

Consider six students (Stu1, Stu2, Stu3, Stu4, Stu5, Stu6). Three of them (Stu2, Stu4, Stu6) took the test in shift-1, whereas the others (Stu1, Stu3, Stu5) took it in shift-2, but all on the same topic. Using these students' raw marks, the percentiles (PStu1, PStu2, PStu3, PStu4, PStu5, PStu6) of these six students in a given topic are calculated and ordered in decreasing order.  

Their Raw Marks (RMStu1, RMStu2, RMStu3, RMStu4, RMStu5, RMStu6 ) in the test in each shift are also noted, corresponding to their percentiles.

• Step 3: Calculate the marks of the students using linear interpolation

Interpolation is a mathematical method for predicting missing marks of students absent in one shift since they took the test in the other. Because some students (Stu2, Stu4, Stu6) attended shift-1 but not shift-2, their raw marks for shift-2 will be missing.

Similarly, pupils (Stu1,Stu3, Stu5) who took the exam during shift-2 will receive no marks for shift-1. These missing marks are then calculated for each candidate in each shift using the interpolation method.

• Step 4: Calculate the normalized marks on a common scale

Candidates' percentile scores, sorted in descending order, will include marks for both shifts, raw marks, and interpolated marks. Raw marks are provided during the shift in which the student has a written test, and interpolated marks are calculated during the other shift because the student cannot have a written examination on the same topic for a second time.

• NTA will then compute the average of the actual raw grades in one shift and the marks derived by interpolation in the other shift for each student.
• NTA employs the score normalization process to address this disparity. 
• NTA assures that the CUET UG result does not disadvantage any applicant by using a normalization technique based on percentile score. 
• The percentile score is calculated to 7 decimal places to eliminate the bunching effect.

NTA employs the following formula to get the percentile score for CUET result 2024 after normalization:

(100 X the no. of candidates who appeared in the session having a raw score equal to or less than the candidate)/ The total number of candidates who appeared in the session

CUET Result 2024: What is NTA Score?

CUET Result 2024 has been announced based on the final NTA Score, derived by combining the percentile scores from all sessions/shifts. The CUET 2024 NTA Score will be valid for admission to the academic year 2024-23.

Re-checking and Re-evaluation of CUET Result 2024

NTA will not accept any requests or correspondences for re-evaluation and re-checking of CUET scores and rank after the announcement of CUET Result 2024. The marks and positions shown on the CUET scorecard 2024 are final. The CUET 2024 result will be compiled using the final answer key prepared after considering any challenges to the provisional answer key. You can challenge the provisional CUET 2024 Answer Key before the results are announced.

CUET Scorecard 2024

Based on the CBT examination, the Nation Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET 2024 scorecard. Candidates can calculate their marks using the CUET Answer Key 2024 and compare them to the final score as shown on the scorecard. Candidates can download their scorecards by checking in with their CUET Dashboard credentials. Simple instructions for checking the CUET Scorecard 2024 are provided below.

• Step 1: First, go to the CUET official website.
• Step 2: The candidate must look for the Scorecard/Result in the "Public Notice" section. 
• Step 3: Go to the CUET result or scorecard 2024 link. 
• Step 4: Enter your Registration Number and Password in the credentials section.
• Step 5: The CUET Score Card 2024 will now be shown on the screen. Remember to save it for further reference.

Importance of CUET Score Card

The CUET Scorecard is an important document used in the admissions process at several colleges. The following are some of the most critical CUET Scorecard factors:

• Candidates can review their CUET exam results.
• The scorecard verifies whether or not the candidate took and passed the CUET Exam.
• The CUET Scorecard will be required for candidates until they confirm acceptance to the University or College.
• The score can be used for counselling at any participating university or college.
• Candidates should be aware that universities may perform individual counselling. This counselling will be based on the CUET UG 2024 scorecard supplied by the National Test Agency.

What is CUET Percentile Score 2024?

The CUET result 2024 will be released after the normalization technique calculates the percentile score. The CUET Percentile Score will indicate the percentage of candidates who scored at or below that individual percentile on the CUET 2024 exam. 

• The CUET 2024 percentile score will be calculated based on the relative performance of all exam candidates over all days and shifts.
• For each shift/session, candidates' marks will be changed on a scale of 100 to 0.
• Each session's topper (highest score) will be received the same percentile 100 due to the percentile score calculation.
• The points earned between the best and lowest scores are also translated to appropriate percentiles.

What After CUET Result 2024?

Through CUET 2024 counselling, candidates will be assigned places in their relevant programs and universities according to merit. Following the announcement of the results, the different Central Universities will release the CUET 2024 cut off, admission timetable, and merit list based on the weightage of the CUET 2024 score.

CUET 2024 Counselling

The CUET 2024 counselling process will begin shortly after the CUET 2024 results are announced. The whole timetable of CUET 2024 counselling will be made available on the various universities' official websites. Candidates who score higher than the cut off and make the merit list will be invited to CUET Counselling 2024.

• Candidates who have passed the CUET 2024 entrance exam must register on the university's website to complete the selection and document verification process.
• Candidates with a higher rank will be given preference over those with a lower rank.
• The availability of seats in a college, the candidate's rank and scores, and other university-specific criteria will be used to allocate seats.
• Candidates allotted a seat must accept the seat and submit the admission fee before the prescribed date.

CUET Result Previous Year’s Statistics

The NTA held the CUET UG exam in six phases in 2022. The CUET UG test was held in 259 cities in India and 10 cities outside the country. The CUET 2024 question paper was offered in 13 different languages. The candidates applied for 54,555 different subject combinations. The total number of question papers was 2219, with 50476 questions.
