WBJEE Result 2021

The WBJEE 2021 exam is expected to be conducted on Jul 17, 2021. The WBJEE authorities will expectedly release the WBJEE result of the exam on Jul 29, 2021 on the official website of WBJEE.

The WBJEE result will be released in the form of the rank card and would contain information like rank, total marks obtained, marks obtained in each paper separately. Procedure to Check WBJEE Results 2021

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to check the WBJEE Results:

1. Go to the WBJEE official website.
2. Navigate to the WBJEE result 2021 download link.
3. Click on thtee WBJEE results 2021 link.
4. The page would be redirected and the candidates would be required to enter some basic information.
5. Enter the details, The candidate would be required to enter their Registration Number and password.

6. Click on submit button
7. Candidate will now be allowed to access their WBJEE scorecard.

Note: WBJEE Board releases a separate merit list for engineering, pharmacy, and architecture candidates. After the merit list has been created, the candidates would be given admissions. The candidates would be called for counselling on the basis of their WBJEE result 2021.

WBJEE Result 2021: Tie-Breaking

When two or more candidates secure same marks in WBJEE Result 2021, authorities follow WBJEE Tie-Breaking Procedure which allows them to come up with someone with an edge over the other. Details of WBJEE Tie-Breaking procedure is given below:

• The candidate who has collectively got lesser Negative Marks will be given the edge over the other
• If both the candidates are still on a tie, the candidate with more positive marks in Maths & Physics will be given the higher rank
• Else, the candidate with more positive marks in Maths & Chemistry will be given the higher position
• If the tie continues, the candidate with less Negative Marks in Maths & Physics will be given the higher rank
• Candidates with less Negative Marks in Maths & Chemistry summed together will be given an edge over
• If the tie persists, candidates with more positive marks in Maths(for only 2 marks questions) will be alloted a higher rank
• If the tie still exists, candidates with more positive marks in Physics(for only 2 marks questions) will be given an edge
• If the authorities are still not able to break the tie, candidates with more positive marks in Chemistry(for only 2 marks questions) will be considered at the top.
• After all the above steps fail to break the tie, candidate's age will be considered a tie-breaker, and the older candidate will be given the preference for admission with WBJEE 2021.

Important Instructions about the WBJEE Result 2021

There are certain things candidates must keep in mind when it comes to the result of the WBJEE 2021 Exam. Candidates are advised to read the following instructions

• The WBJEE Result 2021 is declared on the official website only and candidates can download the result by visiting the website. The WBJEE scorecard will NOT be sent to the candidate any other way
• The scorecard of the WBJEE Result 2021 consists of All India Rank of the student along with the total marks obtained and marks obtained in each subject
• Candidates are instructed to keep the scorecard of the WBJEE Result 2021 until the completion of the admission procedure
• If one fails to download the WBJEE Result 2021 within the given timeline, he/she will have to pay additional charges to get the scorecard/ rank card

WBJEE Merit List 2021

WBJEE merit list is released along with the WBJEE Results. The candidates who are shortlisted will be called for the counseling process. There will be various factors that will impact the WBJEE Merit list- subject wise marks, total marks, category of the candidates being some of them. There would be two different types of WBJEE Merit List- General Merit List: This merit list will be released based on candidates score in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in WBJEE result, and a separate WBJEE Merit List will be prepared for reserved categories.

WBJEE 2021 Cut Off

WBJEE Cut Off is an essential factor when a candidate wants to get admitted to a particular institute based on the WBJEE Result. Different colleges can have different cut offs for different programs. WBJEE cut off consists of opening and closing marks. The candidates will have to score anywhere between the two in their WBJEE Results to get admitted to their programs.

• The eligibility marks: To be eligible for the counselling process, candidates have to score a minimum rank in the WBJEE Result 2021
• Cut Off: Shortly after the results are announced, the WBJEE will release the cut offs list on their official website
