CUCET 2019 Eligibility Overview

Qualification
Integrated and UG courses:- cleared 12th or equivalent; PG programme:- bachelor's degree; M.Phil and Ph. D programme:- Master's degree.
Age
Central University of Kerala:- below 19 years for UG and below 25 years for PG; Other universities:- No age limit.

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 

CUCET mandates the candidates to be fulfilling the eligibility criteria to take the 2020 Exam. Candidate should make a note that the eligibility criteria for UG and PG courses are different from one another. 

  • Criteria: Candidates who wish to apply for CUCET 2020 need to make sure they meet the minimum eligibility criteria before applying for the CUCET 2020 exam. The criteria may vary for different programmes so, candidates need to check the eligibility criteria on participating universities website before filling Application Form. Candidates meeting all CUCET Eligibility Criteria and taking the exam will get the CUCET Results 2020.  

  • Citizenship: Candidates who are applying for CUCET 2020 must be an Indian citizen. 

  • Reserved Candidate: Candidate eligible for reservation recommend to go through the college's website which comes under CUCET 2020.

  • Eligibility Criteria for Integrated Programmes: Candidate needs to clear 10+2 exam with 50% marks from the Central or State Board of examination to apply for Integrated Programmes.

  • Eligibility Criteria for PG Programmes: Candidate needs to have a bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% from the affiliated university to apply for PG Programmes.

  • Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil Programmes: Candidate needs to have a Master degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate to apply for M.Phil programmes.

  • Eligibility Criteria for PhD Programmes: Candidate can apply for PhD programmes if they have a Masters degree from the affiliated university with a minimum mark of 55%.

Reservation in CUCET 2020 Exam

At all levels of the exam, the reservation will be given to the candidates depending upon the various norms laid out by the CUCET officials. Rules set forth by the Government of India for Reservation will be followed by the CUCET examination. Those candidates who wish to get their admission under the CUCET reservation will need to submit a mandate set of documents such as Caste Certificate, PwD Certificate, Income Certificate etc.

NOTE: 

  • The eligibility criteria list, there is no age limit for the candidates who are applying for the CUCET 2020 examination.
  • It is mandatory for the candidates to pass their 12th or equivalent examination to be on the eligibility list of CUCET 2020 examination. 

  • Before applying to the CUCET 2020 exam candidate need to check the eligibility criteria of every college.

M.A.

Candidates should have done their bachelor’s degree from a recognised Indian university or foreign university (recognised as per the AIU list) with economics with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade. OR candidates should have done their graduation or post graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 55% in Graduate/Post Graduate Degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university (to be recognised as per the AIU list).

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 For Education

M.A.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university (in case of a foreign university, recognition to be as per the AIU list) with at least an aggregate of 55% or a grade equivalent thereto.

B.Ed

Candidates should have secured 50% marks in Graduation/Post Graduation in Social Science/ Humanities/Science/ Bachelors in technology or engineering with a specialization in mathematics and science with 55 % marks or any equivalent degree.

M.Ed

Requirements are 50% as aggregate marks in B.El.Ed./B.Ed./B.A.B.Ed.,B.Sc.B.Ed/D.El.Ed. along with a UG degree with 50%. Compartment students will not be eligible for M.Ed. Course.

To be eligible, candidates require a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry from any recognized Indian or Foreign University (Foreign recognition to be on the basis of AIU list) with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent. Or candidates can also be graduates in any branch of Science/Engineering with Mathematics/Biology and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent grade.

Candidates require a B.A/B.Sc. CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 For M.Com

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Commerce/Business Administration/ Equivalent from a recognized Indian or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list). They should have scored at least an aggregate of 50% marks for general categories and 45% for OBC {NON CREAMY LAYER}, SC, ST, PWD and Kashmiri candidates. Additionally, such candidates will also have to secure at least 40% (in case of general categories) and 35% (in case of SC/ST/PWD/OBC(NCL) and Kashiri categories) in CUCET 2020.

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 For M.Sc. Mathematics

Candidates with a B.Sc. /B.Sc. (Hons) degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a UGC recognized University or College or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list). with a minimum aggregate of 50% (for general categories) and 45% for OBC {NON CREAMY LAYER}, SC, ST, PWD and Kashmiri Migrant categories) are eligible to apply. These candidates should also have secured a minimum of 40% for general categories and 35% for OBC {NON CREAMY LAYER} SC/ST, PWD and Kashmiri Migrant categories in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2018. (candidates are to note that 50% of the seats will be filled on the basis of performance in IIT JAM 2020. The remaining 50% will be filled on the basis of performance in CUCET 2020.)

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 For M.Sc. Physics

B.Sc. /B.Sc. (Hons) degree with Physics as one of the subject from a UGC recognized University or College or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list). With at least 50% marks aggregate (45% for SC/ST and Kashmiri Migrant Students) and who have secured a minimum of 40% (35% for OBC {NON CREAMY LAYER} SC/ST, PWD and Kashmiri Migrant Students) marks in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2018. 50% of the seats will be filled on the basis of performance in JAM-2018 (Joint Admission Test for MSc), the national level test conducted by the IITs for admission to M.Sc.

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 For M.Sc. Chemistry

Candidates require a B.Sc/B.Sc. (Hons) degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects from a UGC recognized University or College or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list). Also to be eligible, they will need at least an aggregate of 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for SC/ST and Kashmiri Migrant categories. Candidates will need a Bachelor degree and/or in Master Degree from recognized University or any equivalent qualification with at least an aggregate of 50% and 45% for OBC {NON CREAMY LAYER}, SC, ST, PWD and Kashmiri Migrant Students). CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 For M.Ed.

Candidates need a B.Ed / 4 years integrated course like B.A., B.Ed./ B.Sc.B.Ed or any other equivalent university with a minimum aggregate of 50% for general category and 45% for OBC {NON CREAMY LAYER}, PWD, SC, ST and other relevant categories as per the rules of GOI. They should have also secured at least 40% marks for general categories and 35% marks for OBC {NON CREAMY LAYER} SC/ST, PWD and Kashmiri Migrant Students) marks in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2020.

Candidates need a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent on Grading Scale of respective Universities. Candidates should have also studied Urdu as one of the subjects each semester or year. The minimum aggregate requirements are 50% for the general category and 45% for the SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Candidates will need a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for general category) and 45% (for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories) or its equivalent on a grading scale of respective universities. CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2020 for M.Com

In graduation, there is as such no minimum marks stated to be scored.
