Central University of Himachal Pradesh was founded in 2010, CUHP offers over 45 courses in a variety of disciplines, including sciences, arts, management, technology, business administration, social work, education, hospitality and travel, and many others. Over 130 highly qualified faculty members work at CUHP. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council have accredited CUHP (NAAC). The All India Council for Technical Education has also approved CUHP (AICTE). The University Grants Commission funds and regulates the CUHP (UGC). The CUET entrance exam scores are used to determine CUHP admissions. 

CUHP offers 7 undergraduate programmes and 23 postgraduate programmes, including 6 postgraduate Diploma courses and certificate programmes. Undergraduate programmes include B.Sc, B.A, B.Voc, B.Lib.ISc, and BFA. Postgraduate courses at CUHP include M.Sc, M.A, MBA, M.Lib.ISc, MCA, and MSW. PhD courses are also available.

CUHP Admission

CUHP admission 2022 for UG courses through CUET is now open. B.Sc, B.A, B.Voc, B.Lib.ISc, and BFA are among the undergraduate courses available. Admission to the UG, PG, and Certificate programmes is based CUET valid scores. Admission to postgraduate courses, on the other hand, is determined by the entrance exams (FEAT) administered by CUHP. 

CUHP Eligibility Criteria

CUHP only accepts applicants who meet the qualifications. Applicants must also meet the eligibility requirements in order to be considered for admission to the university. Some of the course eligibility requirements are listed below.

BA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10+2 exams in their relevant core subjects from a recognised board of education with at least 50% marks.

MA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in their relevant disciplines from a recognised university/college.
• Candidates for all PG courses must have an eligible score in the FEAT entrance exam based on seat allocation.

Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a Master's degree in their respective fields from a recognizeded university/college with at least 55% marks.
• Candidates for CUHP Ph.D. admission 2022 must have an M.Phil or a Master's degree in their relevant domains, as well as a valid UGC NET/ CSIR/ GATE/ JRF or any other relevant entrance exam score from which the final selection is made.

Candidates can review their results and download their scorecards from the official website using the necessary credentials. Candidates who have been selected for the CUET 2022 counselling process will be contacted.

Central University of Himachal Pradesh has many facilities such as a library, classrooms, a boys and girls hostel, and so on. Hostels are available at the CUHP  for both male and female students. Central University of Himachal Pradesh placement 2022 report is not released yet. CUHP University has a dedicated training and placement cell that aims to provide quality placement opportunities for its students.
