NEET 2022 UG results will be announced by the National Testing Agency on their official website. NTA NEET Result 2022 Highlights
NEET 2022 result shall contain details like the name of the aspirant, his/her date of birth, subject-wise marks secured, the total percentile scores, NEET All India Rank (AIR), and All India Quota (AQI) Rank, as well as the the category rank. Along with NEET 2022 result, the marks equivalent to the cut off percentile will also be declared. The Minimum cut off for the general category is around 50, while that for the SC/ST/OBC categories is 40 percentile.

NEET Merit List 2022
NTA produces several category-wise merit lists, in consideration with NEET result 2022. Based on these merit lists, the institutions carry out the proceeding NEET counselling rounds. The list of seat allotment is also prepared through the same list.
The three types of NEET merit lists 2022 are given below:
Overall Merit List
Every candidate who appears for NEET 2022 shall find his/her name in this overall merit list declared by the National Testing Agency. This list is forwarded to every institution that carries out counselling rounds after NEET exam result 2022. The list shall contain scores obtained by each candidate, his or her rank, etc.
15% All India Quota Merit List
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for the creation of this NEET merit list. It contains names of all the candidates who were successful in qualifying NEET exam 2022.
State Quota Merit List
It must be known that 85% of the seats available in a state are reserved for candidates belonging to that state. The candidates have to enrol themselves for the counselling process of that state. The state is responsible for the creation of this merit list, containing the names of all the candidates who shall be given these seats.

NEET Result 2022 Tie-Breaking Criteria
Owing to a large number of candidates who attend NEET, it's not very rare for two or more candidates to secure the same marks. The tie-breaking procedure followed to allot different rankings when two or more candidates secure the same marks in NEET result is provided below.
- Candidate with a higher score in Biology will be given a higher order to merit.
- If the score in Biology is the same for two or more candidates, then the candidate with a higher score in Chemistry will be considered for a higher rank in merit.
- If the score in Biology and Chemistry is the same for two or more candidates, then the candidate with less number of incorrect answers will be considered for a higher rank in merit.
- If all the above are the same for two or more candidates, then the candidate who is older in age will be considered for a higher rank in merit.
NEET Result Validity 2022
Qualifying NEET exam is a mandatory criterion for admission to reputed Medical Colleges, not just across India, but to foreign universities as well. The validity of NEET scores is discussed below:
- NEET Result Validity in India: If a candidate is seeking admission at a college based in India, his/her NEET scorecard will be valid for one year only.
- NEET Result Validity in Foreign Universities: NEET scorecard shall be valid for three years if a candidate seeks admission to any of the universities based out of India.
