OJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Counselling

Candidates participating in OJEE 2025 counselling are required to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12th for candidates belonging to the general category, while a minimum of 40% aggregate for SC/ST candidates. Also, candidates are required to have passed all the subjects separately.
  • Candidates participating in BAMS/BHMS counselling must have qualified NEET (UG) with a minimum qualified rank.
  • Candidates must be at least 17 years of age. Candidates' parents should be a natives of Odisha state and present the resident/ nativity certificate during document verification.

OJEE Counselling 2025 Procedure

OJEE Counselling 2025 process commenced for both UG and PG courses. The seat distribution occurs through centralised counselling, with candidates' JEE Main/OJEE scores used to compile a merit list. In addition, candidates must note that OJEE 2025 counselling is held separately for students who have passed both the JEE Main and OJEE 2025 exams.

Step 1: OJEE 2025 Counselling Registration

  • Candidates must visit the official website to participate and OJEE counselling registration for different rounds.
  • Name, gender, application number, and birthdate must all be entered before submitting the form.
  • Then complete the remaining fields on the OJEE 2025 counselling registration forms, including those for the course, ranks, and marks, as well as those for the category, family income certificate, and papers for educational qualification.
  • Choose the entrance test that qualifies for the MBA, MCA, M.Tech/M.Plan/M.Arch, and M.Pharm programs, such as OJEE, GATE, GPAT, NIMCET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA.
  • After all the information is entered, candidates will receive a password for their accounts and must pay the OJEE 2025 counselling fee of INR 450.

Step 2: Choice Filling/Option locking

  • After paying the required fees, candidates must make an OJEE choice, filling in 2025 from a list of the participating colleges for their desired courses and specialisations.
  • Candidates can alter their order of preference from the list of institutions by adding, editing, deleting, and so forth.
  • Candidates must know they cannot be modified after the choices have been frozen. After this, they can freeze their selections and wait for the seat allotment of OJEE 2025.

Step 3: Announcement of OJEE Seat Allotment List

OJEE counselling 2025 cell publishes an OJEE merit list/rank list and a seat allotment list for universities that have openings based on the choices made by candidates. The seat allotment list for three rounds of counselling will be published on the official website.

Candidates who want to secure a seat can save their OJEE seat allotment and go to the counselling office. If not, they can skip this round and wait until the OJEE 2025 counselling cell announces the next seat allocation list, as and when it does.

Step 4: Document Verification

  • Candidates must submit the necessary paperwork to prove their eligibility for the course to get a spot at the designated colleges.
  • They must submit a copy of all the documents online and the original, verified paperwork.
  • Additionally, pay the part-admission OJEE counselling fee, which is INR 5,000 for SC/ST/PC categories and INR 10,000 for general categories.
  • Following this, candidates receive a final seat allocation letter, including the name of the college, the course, and other pertinent information.
  • Additionally, candidates can withdraw after allotment during various rounds of OJEE counselling 2025, and their money will be reimbursed. Activating this option requires paying the part-admission price. The final deadline for withdrawal will be communicated to the candidates.
  • The withdrawal after the last date of the OJEE counselling will not be considered, and the money deposited by the candidate will be forfeited.

Step 5: Admission Confirmation

  • Following document verification, applicants must report to the colleges to which they have been assigned to turn in their documents and pay the balance of the admissions fee.
  • Candidates' admission is revoked if they fail to arrive at the designated colleges within the allocated period.
  • Applicants who decline their assigned seats will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent seat allocation round. The remaining applicants who selected an upgrade will be considered for an upgrade.

OJEE Counselling Through JEE Main

After the candidate has qualified for JEE Main, students can go for counselling. There is also counselling for the candidates through the JEE Mains exam. Some documents need to be carried to the counselling.

OJEE Web Counselling 2025
